At Free Bird Institute, we offer classes in 7 Levels for Reading, Writing, Grammar and Conversation.  We value our students’ abilities to fit in and make their learning experience their own. To ensure our students begin their English learning journey in a suitable level, we use Placement tests to gauge their current skills.

Placement tests
Placement tests are given on the first day which can be changed according to each student’s learning progress. To be introduced into an English learning level that our students are comfortable with, ensures they can enjoy their learning experience from the get-go. As their learning progresses, our students can advance onto the next Level according to their performance. The Placement method ensures our delivery timelines are met and our students can enjoy their time with us while they achieve their goals. Our lesson hours are five (5) hours a day from 8am to 2.30pm. Available sessions range from learning basic grammar and reading to communication such as conversational talks and debates.

We encourage free learning where students can gauge their own performances as well. To help students self-monitor, we offer Move-up Tests available throughout the year. These tests measure a student’s ability to move a Level up and continue improving their English skills.

Other Programs
The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) Course.

The TOEIC® Test assesses a person's overall ability to use everyday English in the workplaces such as international companies and industries, hotels, event management companies, IT or tourism - and it is often used to gain employment, particularly throughout Asia. It is the most widely used General Business English Language Exam and is taken over 6 million times a year.  Free Bird Institute is an accredited Institution that administers the TOEIC test at its campuses in Lautoka and sometimes in Nadi too. Each test taker receives a TOEIC® Official Score Certificate from ETS.

In preparing our students for their TOEIC tests, we offer additional TOEIC preparatory lessons to assist candidates in earning their dream score. Our TOEIC curriculum comes with a rented textbook for practical drills. There are four (4) choices of class with ranging score levels for each choice as showcased below:

Beginners’ class is not recommended for those who want to improve their scores but is also suggested for those who want to improve their overall English ability.

IELTS is an English language test for study, migration or work. Over three million people take our test every year. IELTS is accepted by more than 11,000 employers, universities, schools and immigration bodies around the world. To better equip our students for IELTS (International English Language Testing System) we offer three (3)

We strongly recommend a minimum completion of 12 weeks or 120 hours of preparatory lessons for all our IELTS candidates.
 
Family & Kids classes
In addition, also available are classes that cater for family during the summer holiday and winter holiday where special classes are set up to cater for children below the age of sixteen (16) to allow parents to bring their children to study with them during this time.

We also offer extra one to one classes for students requiring a more private class designed to suit their needs. Our well-trained teachers will customize a teaching programme that would better enable you to improve your English language skills and capabilities.
