Is the Fiji border open?
The Fiji Government has announced that it would open its borders to certain "Green Countries" from 11 November 2021. For now these countries are Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and North Ireland, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, New Zealand, Cook Islands, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, New Caledonia, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
Do I need a study permit to study in Fiji?
Yes - you will need to obtain a study permit prior to arrival into Fiji. We apply for these visa's on your behalf as part of our services.
What documents would I need for my visa?
- - Visa application form
- - Copy of your valid passport biodata page
- - Passport photos (2)
- - Police clearance (applicable only to those studying more than 30 days)
- - Medical report (applicable only to those studying more than 30 days)
How long can I study in Fiji?
This is entirely up to you. You can come and study for two weeks or even up to one year. The choice is yours.
When is the best time to study in Fiji?
Any time is the best time to come to Fiji. The beauty about Fiji is that its almost summer all year around so you will definitely experience the Fiji sunshine anytime of the year.
Where can I stay whilst studying in Fiji?
You will have the choice between staying with one of our friendly homestay families or at our school dormitories located in our school premises.
Can I stay in a hotel accommodation instead?
No, you will need to stay at one of the above accommodation options unless there is a reasonable excuse that you are unable to do so.
Can I change accommodations whilst in Fiji?
Yes, you may. So long as the accommodation is one of our approved accommodations for example, you can move from one homestay to another homestay family, or to the dormitory or vice versa. However, there may be a cost associated with moving.
Can I travel to other islands and resorts whilst in Fiji?
Yes! you most certainly can. However, this will have to be done on the weekends or public holidays, so long as it does not affect your attendance at school.
Is there a required attendance rate for school?
Yes, you will be required to attend 80% of your scheduled classes.
What happens if I do not meet the attendance requirement?
This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on whether there is a reasonable excuse on why this cannot happen. However, in most cases, your visa may be cancelled, and you will be advised to leave Fiji.
Can I come and study in Fiji with my kids?
Yes, we do welcome families that wish to come and study English together. Get in touch with us to find out the best time for this.
Do I need travel insurance when I come to study?
Yes! It is highly recommended that you purchase your travel insurance before traveling to Fiji.
Do I need to quarantine when I arrive in Fiji?

Are meals included in my accomodation?
Meals are only included if you choose to stay with homestay families and the meals are inclusive in these fees. If you choose to stay in the dormitories, then food is not included in the fees.
Are there cooking facilities in the school dormitories?
Yes - all our dormitories have a common cooking facilities accessible to students who stay here.
