Attributed to its pre-colonial period, Fiji’s official language is English. The country was ceded to Great Britain before gaining independence in 1970. The native i-Taukei and Hindustani language are also commonly spoken in local communities, among other languages and ethnicities that make up our diverse Fijian community.
Our cost-efficient institute is made possible through our ability to run our own school. Where is Fiji?
Placed in the middle of the South Pacific, just a few hours flight from Australia and New Zealand, Fiji is spread across 1,290,000 square kilometers of ocean. This tropical paradise lives up to its postcard perfect reputation with a treasure trove of lush rainforests and white sandy beaches with gin-clear waters offering a front view of its flourishing coral reefs and fish-filled lagoons.
Approximately one third of our 333 islands are occupied with most people living in the urban areas of Fiji’s two larger islands – Viti Levu & Vanua Levu.

The official Fiji currency is Fijian Dollars. 1 USD is equivalent to 2 FJD.
Time Zone
Across the 180th Meridian, Fiji is exactly 12 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Climate
From December to April, the temperatures are a comfortable 22° - 33°C, with May to November slightly cooler with
temperatures range from 19°- 29°C.
